The Summer Countdown Has Begun!!!

I only have 16 more work days until summer break.  I can't wait!!!!!!  I am always excited for summer break, but this year I am absolutely ecstatic.  I can't wait to spend the summer with Henry.  Nick and I were just talking tonight about buying a baby pool.  Henry loves taking baths so I know he is going to love playing in a pool this summer.

Henry came up to visit my students about 2 weeks ago.  He was really good, and the kids loved seeing him.  Everyone commented on how big he was for being only 5 months old.  I love showing off my adorable little boy :)

We had a great Easter!  Henry was a little crabby on Easter Sunday because his teeth were bothering him.  He loved all of his new presents.  My fave was his weiner dog hot dog cutter from Aunt Katie and Uncle Eric.  So cute!

Henry is eating a steady diet of solid foods at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  So far he has tried, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, squash, bananas, pears, avocados, and apples.  I think the sweet potatoes and avocados are his faves.

Nick went to the Cards vs. Cubs game with Eric last week and brought "Big Ted" (a Cardinals build a bear) home for Henry.  Henry loved it!  We are really trying to make this little boy a Cards fan :)

Happy Easter!

The babe is in a wonderful mood tonight!  He is laughing and playing with Nick.  His new thing is to make a spitting noise with his mouth, kind of like blowing bubbles with his spit :)  He especially likes to do this when we feed him because it makes his food go everywhere.  Sweet potatoes are definitely his fave food.  He loves to play with the wash rag and clean up after he is done eating :) Henry has two bottom teeth now, and he is still drooling everywhere.  We have to change his clothes several times throughout the day because they are wet with drool.  Mom and I took Henry to see the Easter bunny last Sunday, and he was such a good boy.  He sat on his lap and smiled right away for his pictures.  He is starting to roll over from tummy to back more consistently and still loves his bouncy seat.  He gets to spend the day with his Uncle E tomorrow :)
